Rudraksha is a seed traditionally used as prayer beads in Hinduism. The seed is produced by several species of large evergreen broad-leaved tree in the genus Elaeocarpus, with Elaeocarpus ganitrus being the principal species. They are associated with the Hindu deity Lord Shiva and are commonly worn for protection and chanting Om Namah Shivaya mantra by devotees. The seeds are primarily used in India and Nepal as beads for organic jewellery and malas, and are valued similarly to semi-precious stones. Various meanings and potencies are attributed to beads with different numbers of segments (faces), and rare or unique beads are highly prized and valuable.

The focus here is now in three mukhi and seven mukhi only so that is what I am going to write about.
Three mukhi Rudraksh
Nothing represents the Holy Trinity of Shiv, Vishnu and Brahma like the Three Mukhi Rudraksha. The person wearing this Rudraksha will receive the blessings of all the three Gods. Symbolising Agni, the Fire God, 3 Mukhi Rudraksha purifies the soul and karma of the person wearing it, much like how Lord Agni does. In the Brahma Muhurat time, place this bead on a plate and decorate with flowers. Clean it with Ganga Jal and Panchamirit. Apply sandal paste and keep at the feet of Lord Shiva.
Sit facing east or north direction and chant the Bheej mantra ‘Om Kleem Namah’ 108 times to energize it and then wear it.
3 Mukhi Ruduraksha Wearing Rules
Do not wear it while having sex, eating non-vegetarian foods and indulging in inauspicious deeds.
Chant the Bheej mantra ‘Om Kleem Namah’ at least nine times every day before going to bed.
Seven mukhi rudraksh

1. Chant the Bheej mantra ‘Om Hoom Namah’ at least nine times in the morning and evening.
2. Never tell lies or indulge in drinking liquor, consuming non-vegetarian foods and wicked deeds while wearing this rudraksha.
3. Visit Shiva temples on Mondays and Saturdays or perform Lord Shiva’s puja at home on these days.
